Welcome to the fictional Japanese town of Kiyomi.
Situated on the outskirts of Kyoto, it is a combination of residential and industrial areas adjacent to a large commeercial centre.
The Shinkansen "Bullet Train" passes close by on its dedicated track between Kyoto and Tokyo.
The is a regular shuttle commuter service between the outskirts of the town and the commercial centre.
The JR main line passes through the town, operating both freight and passenger services.
The layou uses Kato & Tomix track and is 12 ft x 3ft in size. The layoout is based on a variety of Japanese table layouts I have seen in Japan and on the Internet.
